3 – FLOORING STYLES AVAILABLE
The “Legacy” Australian reclaimed flooring range was born of the desire to create a more functional way of repurposing reclaimed timbers for wood flooring. NATURE HAS PROVIDED THE PALLET, TEXTURE AND CHARACTER through decades of exposure to the elements. The one attribute that can not be replicated in a factory somewhere. To preserve these amazing features, we profile the flooring as tongue & groove with a small arris on the edges. This allows for a more stable, level and precise installation. The main benefit to the design is that it negates the need for floor sanding. In most situations, only a clean is required before a coating is applied. Thus preserving natures artwork and saving time and money.
GREY WEATHERED
IN SOME CASES, OVER A HUNDRED YEARS OF EXPOSURE TO THE ELEMENTS, NATURE HAS PROVIDED THE PALLET, TEXTURE AND CHARACTER. WE JUST MANAGE THE FORM & FUNCTION.
Naturally weathered/distressed face with a medley of grey tones and pale soft browns. The texture of the grain is present, as is surface checking, insect holes, staining or discoloration, small fastener holes, oxide stains and other possible signs of previous use. Variable
patina and texture.

EXPOSED FACE
A Mélange OF THE MANY AND VARIED TEXTURES, COLOURS AND EXPOSED PATINA AVAILABLE IN THE OUTSIDE FACE OF RECLAIMED TIMBER. THE EXPLOSION OF NATURAL HUES CREATES AN ATMOSPHERE OF WARMTH MOVEMENT.
Naturally weathered/distressed face consisting of an array of colour & tones. Mill saw marks are present, as is surface checking, insect holes, staining or discoloration, small fastener holes, oxide stains and other possible signs of previous use. Variable patina and texture.

INSIDE FACE
UNDERNEATH THAT WEATHERED, RUGGED EXTERIOR, LIES THE TRUE HEART AND TRUE TELLING OF THE SPECIES.
Generally speaking, this style is sorted into 3 groups being a mix of either Blondes, Brunettes or Redheads. A single species may be ordered depending on availability.
As this style is a cut face, it may be ordered without the arrised edges to be given a full sanding if desired. There will sill signs of checking & insect holes, as well as staining or discoloration, small fastener holes, oxide stains and other possible signs of previous use. Variable patina.
